I absolutely love this perch so I felt that it is my duty to write about them so that other parrots may benefit. I purchased my first 2 about a month ago and was so thrilled with the results that I picked up 2 more yesterday. It is an orthopedic/trimming perch and works very well with my girlies. For optimal results I recommend an Extra large for those with Greys and a Large sized one for pionus parrot sized parrots. The perch is wide enough so that they can stretch their little toes and has these little ridges on both sides.. similar to those that you'd find on real branches. The ridges do not look at all abrasive for the little paddings on their toys.

 

I place this perch by their food and water dish.
