Grey Hissing sound

Does your grey makes a hissing sound when he wants his head scratched?

I though only mine did, I thought it was an attempt to say scratch, but I was surprised to hear the same his from a friends grey when his head was being scratched... So I just wandered, is it a common thing they do when they are enjoying a head scratch??

Pepper does this 'hissing' sound too while getting a good head rub. Just like that video!

 

She also will pant sometimes its so funny

I've not heard my grey make any hissing sound but he always clucks when having his head scratched.
