lovethatgrey Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 All of a sudden I have a thirst to know more about my camera. Never attempted a flying pic before and trust me it isn't easy. Emma is speedy and Sachi even speedier.B) ]

Post edited by: lovethatgrey, at: 2009/11/19 22:38

pearllyn Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Smashing picture! You'll know your camera inside out before long! It's amazing what a little inspiration can do!! More please!
JillyBeanz Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Check you out - David Bailey!!! What an absolutely excellent picture of Emma - it's amazing to see what a fantastic wing span they have isn't it. I'm looking forward to more of your pictures now that you've mastered your camera
she Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Wow, what a brilliant photo. I love the shadows of Emmas wings on the wall.I wish I could get a shot like that.
judygram Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Great picture of Emma in flight, now that you are learing your way around maybe we will see more pictures though don't stop with the videos, they are really entertaining, you may have just sparked my interest in trying my hand at them.
katana600 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 All I can say is WOW. That photo is impressive. Emma's red tail is stunning. Isn't she elegant? I can't begin to think of pictures when Juno flies, I am still trying to get ahead of him to be his moving perch.

Glad you all appreciate Emma so much.{Feel-good-00020114} It seems that I have uploaded over 70 videos of my parrots.:woohoo: I think I may slow down a bit on videos and concentrate on taking great pictures. I didn't realize I how much I could enjoy this. There is so much to learn about my camera and I'm sure I've merely touched the tip of the iceberg.

lovethatgrey Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 I've managed to take another flying picture of Emma. I've also noticed that she has 2 broken feathers. It must have happened a while ago. I wonder when they will be replaced. On another note.. I think it's very funny how her toes just dangle in the air while she's flying. For some reason I had thought that maybe they'd be tucked in. Don't ask me why I thought that.
Luvparrots Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Another great picture of Emma in flight. Thanks Adina!
jules1962 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 beautiful photos, well done. I think thier feet look funny when they are flying
Supernova Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I am very impressed by your pics they are fantastic what more can I say
judygram Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Yes I noticed the missing feathers in the first picture and maybe she will be replacing them soon when its their time but it doesn't hinder her flying any. BTW, great picture of her again.
