Joolesgreyuk
Well the latest is that Beau & Argyle have both picked-up lots of words & sounds, now I'm not saying my cooking is bad but Beau has the microwave and the smoke detector off to a tee  and man is it loud and piercing???! He is certainly much happier since the addition of Argyle to the flock and no longer do I find him looking bored when I get in from work. I would say that Beau has between 6 & 9 words and phrases to his vocabulary, the latest being "go poo poo" before actually going and "Bo Bo" in Steve's voice. Mostly though he talks in my voice. Argyle seems to be warming to Jordan and Jordan has taught him to dance (Beau dances too) he also greets Jordan with "Hello" when he gets home from school. I know his previous owners had children so maybe this is the reason. He seems a little better with his nipping but it depends on what mood he is in tbh - definately a male ;-) I Love my fids. casper
Great update Julie. It sounds like they are accepting each other really well. The smoke alarm is a nightmare in our house! Try listening to three greys all doing this at the same time:lol: Ear plugs are definetly needed when making toast!!! Have you posted any recent photos I may have missed Julie? I would love to see them. Thanks for a great update:)
Joolesgreyuk
Thanks Caroline and everyone else for the replies. No I don't think there are any recent photos Caz. JD, It's easy to teach your parrot to dance - just move your head up and down without nodding (bend the knees lol) and say dance, after a while your parrot will copy you, he may even say dance as he does it. I suggest you do this whilst alone or the men in white coats may come-a-knocking
JungleDreamz
LOL, OK I will do it, The men in white coats are already monitoring me cuz when I take calypso in the shower the books say to act like your having this wonderful time, lol, SO imagine that, Splashing the water about, Making funny silly cooing noises, and saying "ooohhhh this is so much fun!!!! YAY! Want shower want shower" :silly:

Post edited by: JungleDreamz, at: 2009/11/20 17:
