Luvparrots
You are just to smart Julie!!!! A farmer has to get a sack of corn, a chicken, and a fox across a river. The farmer is only able to bring one of the above items along with him at a time. The only problem is if he leaves the fox alone with the chicken, the fox will eat the chicken, and if he leaves the chicken along the corn sack, then the chicken will eat the corn sack. How does the farmer get all 3 items across safely?
Joolesgreyuk
He could take the corn first. then the fox and the chicken last.
Luvparrots
If he takes the corn first than he leaves the fox and chicken together. Good for the fox, bad for the chicken!

JillyBeanz
Ha Ha - I'd pay to see you try and "stuff" a fox in a bag!!! Right - the pillow talk in my house is incredible! Credit has to go to my husband who worked this one out for me (at 22.45 last night, whilst reading the riddles on my phone!!) Firstly take the chicken across, return and take the bag of corn across - BUT - take the chicken back over the river and put it back down. Then pick the fox up and take it across the water (thus leaving the fox and the corn on one side). Return across the river, pick the chicken up and take that over - Job's a good 'un - all three (and the farmer) over the river unscathed!
