Ishmael
Hi: I am a new African Grey owner and was wondering if anyone can tell me why my grey crouches in front of me, whispering 'nahnahnah' and when I go to pet him, he gives me one foot and rolly polly's onto my lap. I've been tickling his tummy when he does this and I carry him in my arms like a baby. Is this normal for these parrots? If you have advice or can tell me what he is doing when he does this please email me. Thanks in Advance Ishmael
judygram
Ishmael, you have a playful grey, lots of them like to lay on their back or flip over like yours is doing, enjoy it for some of us have greys who won't do this and Josey is one of them that won't. There is nothing wrong with your grey, he is being perfectly normal. Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us more about you and this grey. Luvparrots
Hi Ishmael, congratulations to you for your grey trusting you so much that he will lie on his back so readily. You must be a very loving and great parront. If you have any pictures of your grey we would love to see them.
