Georgiesmum
Hi everyone, {Feel-good-00020114} Can anyone tell me whats the earliest a baby grey can be fully weaned or how many weeks does it usually take before they are fully weaned??? Im reading mostly about 12 weeks but can it be sooner?
Spinner
Every bird is different with the 12 weeks being just a target age. You will find posts here with greys that are still handfeeding at 4-5 months, and some slightly sooner than the 12 weeks. I wouldn't expect a grey to be "properly" weaned much sooner than a 12 week age. All this leads me to ask what is the question behind what you are asking? Spinner
Haha! I knew it! I don't blame you one little bit - it's painful to wait to bring home your new baby. Is there a name yet?

Luvparrots
Delma just be patient. It's hard I know I had to wait for 2 months before my baby was ready to come home. You don't want to get your baby too early, you want to be sure that he is eating completely on his own so that the homecoming can be happy and pleasant for both of you. Gorgie is a great name!!! I like it!!! Now remember patience is a virtue!!
