JillyBeanz Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 The Parrot Society UK (I know you're in Ireland - but they include Ireland in their literature) only lists the one in Wicklow. I rang and asked if I could have an appointment with their "avian vet" - the receptionist stumbled, mumbled and then I said "bird". She said "oh yes, we see birds". I said that I was sure they "saw birds" but I wanted a vet with specific avian qualifications. She said they didn't have any!! I actually contacted the UK Parrot Society about the listings and I was concerned that Firstvets was listed incorrectly (or just had absolutely thick staff)!!!!
