Guest Waldo
Hi all, Happy Christmas! I brought my 18month old, shy, frightened Grey home over time he mellowed and learned 'Hello' but it was only a throaty version. Next I taught him to wolf whistle and blow kisses and over the last couple of months has been running up his perch for a monkey nut out of my hand. He's now getting bolder and climbing on the outside of his cage near to me. This last week I heard him say something but couldn't make it out and he kept repeating this over the next few days but I couldn't understand him. Then, suddenly as clear as a bell he said "Here we go!" and he repeats it when I say it. I am so thrilled! I don't know where he's picked it up from. He also says "Hello" in his new voice instead of the throaty version. This bird never ceases to amaze me, it's the best Christmas prezzie he could have given me.
