pearllyn
Hay Folks! Alfies Lego came yesterday, and I'm very happy to report it seems to be a success - she was driving us nuts with her pen pinching! I was a little concerned she wouldn't be interested in the Lego or maybe scared of it, but as soon as she saw me put it on the desk with a "Do Not Touch" sign in front of it, that was it! She was straight in as soon as my back was turned. Here are some pics, and I'm working on uploading the video! She still has the attention span of a paperclip though, and something else soon caught her eye! Never mind, the Lego keeps her occupied for a good two and a half minutes at a time! Hope you and yours are all well. Lyn & Alfie xx
JillyBeanz
Very nice pictures Lyn - is it an aeroplane or a racing car chassis! I can just see you now, after Alfie's gone to bed, in the middle of the living room carpet with your lego. For Alfie my eye!! AND you've only posted the pocket picture because you've got a lovely flat bum!!
pearllyn
Haha is was a plane - and I sit on the mat in front of the fire!! AND I'm afraid the pocket picture is David, a)I would NEVER take a picture of my own bum, and b) mine absolutely fills my jeans!! x

pearllyn
Lol, no Judy, if you try to hide stuff from her, it makes it all the more irresistable! x

Post edited by: pearllyn, at: 2009/10/13 15:

judygram
That was very cute Lyn of Alfie going after that lego, she was determined that toy was not going to get the better of her, thanks for sharing that with us.
danmcq
Love all the photos of Alfie having fun!! He is a beautiful Grey, even if he is mischievous. :-) Thanks for sharing them.
pearllyn
Thanks Judy, and you're welcome - I like to share! I think that video is quite amusing! And thanks also, Dan, I think so too, although mischievous is an understatement at the minute!
jessdecutie18
Nice pictures I'll have to see if my little nieces and nephew have any legos to spare so I can try them with Yoshi
JillyBeanz
Harvey would NEVER fly to the floor (even for a tub of palm nuts). Alfie didn't care did she - straight down there after her lego. Great video too Lyn x
Eckobird
Those are great pictures and video of Alfie playing with her new legos! Looks like fun, I might have to try those with Ecko. But like you said it will probably only keep him occupied for about 2 minutes LOL! Thanks for sharing with us and karma to you!
pearllyn
No, it doesn't bother her at all - she's so bold, she'll even go down to try and wrestle a yoghurt pot off Megan or Tia! Lucky I have two good dogs to go with my far too pushy parrot!! Thanks for looking at t vid! x
pearllyn
Thanks Caitlin and Jess, They're def worth a try, and remember, it is 2 and a half minutes at a TIME! At maybe 6 or 8 times a day, that's 15 - 20 minutes of peaceful playtime EVERY day!! x

katana600
Lyn your photos and video really capture Alfie's essence. What a fun-loving energetic character she is. We still have some boxes of our kids toys I was saving for grandchildren... but they are already in Juno's toy cupboard. LOL... We still have a bit of a wait for the next generation anyway. pearllyn
Lol Katana, I'll bet Juno's toy cupboard is bursting! Alfie has a toy box - we may need to upgrade! x
