Macaw and Cockatiel in the same room..?

Hi guys, is it ok to house a macaw and a cockatiel in the same room? I know the dander/dust off of cockatoos and african greys can lead to respiratory problems in macaws, but was wondering do cockatiels have the same effect? Meikos playstand arrived this morning and the plan was to be able to wheel it into the living room in the evening and have it in the hallway during the day, unfortunately its so big it won't even fit out into the hallway..so it looks like I either have to get rid of it for something smaller, or move my cockatiels cage out of the living room. There's already a large cage for my CAG Jake and the cockatiels cage in there, so it's a bit much having a huge playstand in there too. My only other option is to rehome the cockatiel, however he's just starting to get tame and I hate the thought of rehoming him and someone being cruel to him. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
