Supernova Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Hi everybody just moved my son to his new home and now I am in his old bedroom with my puter and it has been hard work. Ben is still down stairs, she is feeling left out because we have been very busy moving stuff about like mad, My wife can now do all those things she always wanted to and I have a room to play in. The extra space is very nice but we are knackered. Bernie
Luvparrots Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Oh what fun Bernie your own Den of Iniquity! When you get it all fixed up proper, we'll all want to see some pictures and give our stamp of approval you know!
judygram Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I know how that is Bernie, my two kids moved out long ago and it is nice to have the extra room, now they come back and visit but don't stay, best that way.
she Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I bet your wife is upset her baby has flown the nest. We want pictures of your own little den.

Post edited by: she, at: 2009/10/04 07:50
judygram Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Looks great Bernie, you have fixed it up real nice, now lets hope he doesn't have to come back home to live, thanks for sharing some pics of your new "den" with us.
Supernova Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 Did you notice the computer is on the forum ?
Luvparrots Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Very nice digs Bernie!!!! I'm impressed! But were is Ben's private "nest" in your den!!!!
tommyn Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Looks great, it's good for us men to have our own fortress of solitude. :laugh:
rbpittman Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 When we bought our house it was more for location (to my parents house) than some other types of amenities (such as a large closet in the master). It had three bedrooms, a finished room over the garage and the floor plan was (and still is) open and easy to enjoy. The yard was great, very large and faces my parents back yard. Soon after buying the house I had a wonderful surprise - baby #4 (LP) would be there the next year. The garage was converted into three rooms - a bedroom, mudroom, small storage room. The bedroom for my youngest daughter. When my oldest moved out on his own, I took over his room for my computer (it has now been in every room in the house but my bedroom). As LP grew he wanted the frog and my computer went to his room (the smallest in the house). When Caiti moved out, Sarah took her room (the converted garage) and I moved the computer into the next available room (a little larger) and had a small guest room. When Sarah moved out I took over the converted garage (now my office) and it is being taken over by my fids. The circle of life continues. Enjoy the new digs Bernie - they look great.
JillyBeanz Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Elaine's clearly been in there Bernie - far too tidy! That poor son of yours must have left out the front door and you moved your things in through the back door - you don't waste much time do you! Very nice - all you need now is a beer fridge
Supernova Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 What the hell else do you put in a fridge. Ben Has the dining room and another cage in the conservatory to go outside in. Jill wot do you mean far to tidy, cheek, I cleaned it myself, with a shovel, after my son moved out.
judygram Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I love that jumping smiley! {Feel-good-0002006E}
