Window Safety

i know there is no safe open window but has anyone seen these window guards ? and would they work ?

looks like it would work...but might be a pain...

 

is there a screen on the window?

It would be a pain really - you have to put them in each time you open the window. There's also a comment that they don't work on UK tilting windows - which is a bit strange considering it's a UK based website!!!
