Ok, Jasper's are like perfectly round...and others that I see are slanted slightly. Or, more almond shape.

 

Why is that?

I think they are all about the same, I think it depends on what angle you are looking at them, Joseys look more round at times and others there is a slight almond shape. Some people clain you can tell the sex by the shape of the eye but I think that is bull.

It depends on their mental attitude at the time. If Tobie is on alert his eyes are perfectly round. If he is very relaxed and puffed up a bit his eyes are more eliptical. I'm looking at him now and he is on my shoulder making cooing noises - they're round.

Very interesting because I have always thought Kea has more slanted or almond eyes which Rangi doesn't have, his are more round

The breeder I got my Dyh from has a pet Grey 6 yrs old. I was amazed at the difference in the way she looks compared to Whisper. His Grey has smaller slanted eyes while Whisper's are round.

As some of the others, Dayo's eyes are sometimes almond and sometimes round shaped.

Juno's eyes are round so far as I have seen him in short sessions. But now dog gone it Dan, I have been looking in the mirror every time my mood changes and darned if I don't think wicked thoughts when my eyes are schrinched a little bit.
