jseabolt
Every since we moved our parrots into an aviary, the seed moths have hatched like crazy. They did not seem to hatch when the birds were in separate cages. I had been buying their parrot food from PetSmart. Then I tried buying Hartz brand from Wal-Mart and the seed moths keep coming back. My wife looked up seed moths on some website and it said to put sticky traps in the corners. I'm just wondering if I can order any seed that has been treated that doesn't hatch these moths. Or anything else I can do about it. Thanks.
Talon
I keep my seed in the fridge, that keeps them away.
Luvparrots
I keep my fids' food in tightly closed containers. If I buy in bulk I too keep their extra food in the freezer. I wouldn't have any kind of sticky traps around my birds or their food.
