Bens new home outside

Here is Bens second home she went outside for the first time today, you should have seen her with her legs sticking out the bottom of the cage, walking, holding on to the cage with her wings. :laugh:

It takes a couplle of days to get used to it, but soon she wont want to come in and you will find that you have 2 totally different greys. The inside greay and the outside twin.

Very nice my birds have an outdoor cage but the have to share so they only can go out for a couple hours then the next bird gets a turn. They only get to this about 7 months out of the year because I live in western Canada so we get the change of seasons but it starts to get warm in April and we have good days right through October so its not so bad it was 30 degrees celcius here yesterday so summer is still hanging in there.

Ah, lucky little Ben! Harvey loves it outside in both his cage and his Aviator - I don't think you'll get many more chances of outdoor fun without icicles appearing! :blink:

All parrots should have the chance to go outside as much as is reasonably possible, unfortunately in the UK it is seldom possible, we have to make a special effort to get our birds outside when we can. These pics are great and you can see that Ben loves it outside.
