Tell her happy birthday from me too - I presume that you will be taking your Blackberry and joining the forum from the forest? Do they have any phone masts

 Thanks Bernie!! Different countries different meanings. When I was in Australia where my oldest granddaughter was born. I remember a woman asking me if she could "nurse my granddaughter" I said "no"! When I told my daughter how this woman wanted to nurse her baby she was very upset with me as the lady only wanted to hold her. The apologizing I had to do!!!! Or let's try England where, "Can I knock you up in the morning" means would you like a wake up call?

I know, I was in the USA sometime ago in a hotel and the tap in the bathroom would not turn on, so after a long explanation,

because he did not know what a tap was.

He said faucet I said I did I nearly ripped it of the wall.

We got some greef I can tell you.

Luvparrots - if someone asked if they could knock me up in the morning I would think it meant what you think it means too (and I'm English!!!).

I love how misinterpretations occur - there must be millions of them.

Bernie - I've just been to watch some sport (not motor boats tho) - I've just been to the top of my street to watch the "Tour of Britain". My niece (20 months) was more interested in the tons of police bikes and cars and the loud cars they make!!
