I almost hit someone on I-81 yesterday but thanks to my quick thinking I swerved and missed and didn't lose control, I just continued to zip on down the road without skipping a beat. I too tend to have a lead foot, my instructor in high school once called me Richard Petty:blush:

I...however, was backing out of the garage, bumped the car behind me (I had to crank the wheel left to avoid hitting the car - every time I backed out)pulled forward to access the damage (none) and then proceeded to hit the garage!

OMG, I have a 2004 Jeep that has over 94,000 miles on it already, I love driving, never had a speeding ticket, they can't catch me!!!!:lol: :blush: :woohoo:

Luvparrots, that is not out of the question. My daughter was stopped in NC this summer. Apparently 10mph under the limit is probable cause. After all these years with me she is the opposite.

 

To be fair, I have logged more than 600,000 miles, with only 2 tickets. One was 1980, and the other was :unsure: last year. I guess I do more damage at slow speeds.

My mom got her one and only speeding ticket for driving too slowly out in the middle of the desert at two o'clock in the morning! :ohmy: She was the only driver for miles around. She was furious!
