Do any of your birdies own one of these? I am tempted to buy one for Squonk, he seems fearless of most things so I don't think he would freak if I put one in his cage. I am more and more in love with him every day and I think he feels the same, so happy

My sun conure uses one of those tent shaped huts to sleep in but I have not provided one for Josey, I doubt she would use it, she prefers to sleep on top of her boing but there is no harm in trying, Squonk might just like it.

I think little parrots like senegals, parrotlets, caiques, etc tend to appreciate these type of items.

When I collected Harvey from the breeder he sold these sleep tent things - I enquired whether to buy one and he told me that greys don't go for them much and it is more the smaller birds who will snuggle down.

I know Charlie would not use one but Cracker the tiel would love one, he sleeps under the paper in his cage.I always worry he may chew it though,any thoughts on this?

Thanks guys, will save my money and get him a boing instead, it's dark here now and I have put him to bed with a cover half over his cage, do you cover your birds at night?

Ok, I think I will do the same, makes it seem cozy for him, he hated the cover at first and growled but tonight was happy enough when I part covered him.

Ana Grey used a sleeping tent this last winter but I have taken it out for the summer. She is only a year old now. I will put in back in in the fall/winter and see if she likes it. I don't cover my fids at night as I am a late riser and they enjoy the sunshine when it comes through the windows in the AM.

i have a tent like thing for Chikki.. being just 5 months old, he is still exploring the world and he loves the tent.. but it is a bit too big to be put in his cage.. so i leave it outside the cage, and whenever he is out of the cage and wants a secure place, he just walks into it..

My senegal, Buddy has several and loves them, but there is no way Schroeder would ever use one. He wont stick his hhead in a mug for a treat much less his whole body in a happy hut.....Of course, Schroedee is a big sissy.
