Scariest thing

What is the scariest thing/ point in your life you have ever encountered?

That depends on what type of scare you are referring to. But, the things that have scared me the most, are not of threats to me, but to my family:

 

#1 My Son in a Motorcycle accident with head injuries (Thank God for Helmets). That was the longest 3 hour drive in our lives to the Hospital he was in.

 

#2 My wife being diagnosed with and being treated for Cancer. Thankfully she has been cancer free for 9 years now.

Let's see.

 

1) When my three children 6, 5 and 3 years of age, were all caught in a ship's wake at the beach and I almost lost all three.

 

2) When my 11-year-old son didn't come home after dark and the police came to help search for him.

 

3) Being caught in a flash flood on the Chang Jiang (Yangtze) River in China on a tourist barge and almost being dashed on the rocks.

 

There are more but that's enough!!!!

 

Thankfully, all turned out well.
