judygram
Have your mum take it a little easy, it will take more time for your baby to warm up to her, he probably sees you more and he is getting used to you. He may already starting to bond with you or has picked you as a favorite and your mum doesn't share that sentiment so have her back off some and not force herself on him, he just needs more time to get used to her. He will let her know when she can do more with him.

she
Have your mum just let her baby settle in to the new home and get aquainted with everyone. It can take time.Just ask her to talk to him at a distance he is happy with and if he allows, feed him treats by hand.Dont rush in to picking him up or handling him. judygram
The advice is still pretty much the same, she needs to be patient and give her bird some more time to settle in, the growling means she is too close for comfort and when she feels more comfortable she can do more with the bird, some just take longer than others. dianemelissa
hi he does step up but growls then settles ,but as soon as u move her growls how long will this go on for?
judygram
It could go on a while, is it loud growling or sort of more like a grumbling? My Josey still does a little grumbling sometimes to show her displeasure at me for something I am doing to her or trying to get her to do, she does this instead of biting me as most greys do when they don't want to do something you ask. Some greys are more nervous than others and it just takes longer, tell her to just take her time and be patient.
