We hire someone to come to do the weed eating and lawn mowing at our house. I was home the other day when they came and watched Tobie freak out. He was so nervous he jumped off the cage and ran all over the house looking for me or a place to hide. He finally settled on my shoulder but was trembling and didn't stop until they turned off their machines. I didn't have any idea he was reacting like this. Anyone else have this problem?

Oh yes Jan, when my hubby has the lawn mower or the weed eater running and comes close to the house Josey freaks a little too, anything out of the normal and a lawnmower or weedeater is not something that is used every day. She reacted pretty much the same way as Tobie.

NO,the lawn mower is one of the few things Charlie does not mind.I often cut the grass while he is outside with me in the aviary.

Schroeder freaks out when my step brother farts. Just my step brother. he has loud "party farts" and likes to share them during family dinners. Mom should smack him. Schroeder will fly across the room and try to land on the closet available female. This is usually cuz us girls will say stuff like "awwwwwwww, poor little Muffins" and give him treats and snuggles. the guys just laugh at him. Perhaps my husband and I need to start eating more beans...
