Hello Dmarie and welcome to our family, we are so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and your new grey.

I think if you have not had a grey before you should stick with getting just one, a grey is a big responsibility and a lifetime committment and having only one will be enough for the time being. You can always add another later or another bird of a different species if you like.

Have you ever had any parrots before?

You should read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do ask questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can.

Oh, take it from me, as a learner, one is more than enough!! Harvey is 8 months old and has me run ragged!! One's fine - believe me!

Welcome to the forum - it'll be lovely to see some photos of your new baby :)

I have one grey and thats enough for me. I also have a cockatiel who is a real live wire,so no more for me at the moment.

Welcome dmarie!!

It's GreYt having you here. :-)

One will be enough, especially if you spend plenty of time with it.

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

I think you made the right decision, you can always add another bird later but beware of MBS, Multiple Bird Syndrome, its contagious, once you get one then you want more.
