I have read that since greys love to chew , fruit tree branches can be provided. My question, I have researched and have not found the mulberry plant in either the toxic or safe list. Does anyone know whether it is safe or not. I have a big mulberry tree in my yard and I want to offer it to my grey. Does anyone know?thanks, Gloria

Love the name! Did you name your grey for Kofi Annan?

:woohoo:

Hi, yes I did name him after Kofi Annan. I wanted something that reflected his heritage. Kofi means born on a Friday in the language (I can't remember) and I ended up picking him up on a Friday.

What other kinds of branches are safe? How can they be sterilized?

Tricky,

Spooky posted a link below that gives you all the information you're looking for.

I prefer to sterilize the branches by placing them in the oven. About 300 degrees for 30 min. Keep close eye on them to avoid a possible fire.
