judygram
Buster views his cage as his territory, his safe zone and he is protective of it so you will have to respect that, if he comes out and sits with you and allows you to stroke him and such then that is great. Will he step up for you after he comes out and comes to you? If so then you have no problem, a lot of greys get territorial about their cages and will refuse to step up or have you do anything to them while they are in it or on it but when they step away then they become more loving, accept it for that is just the way he is. hill
No he will not step up on the floor plus what is the best way to get him onthe floor as he will not come down very often tends to jump but do not want him to hurt himself
Luvparrots
I have a ladder that goes down to the floor for my fids to climb down or up on. Frankly, they still prefer to jump down. Sounds like things are going very well for you and Buster.
