Hi. There are crickets in the room where the birds sleep. They are chirping very loudly (the crickets) and my friend doesn't care to get rid of them. Will they keep my birds up all night? Thank you.

I doubt they would keep your birds awake as there are bugs and other creatures in their natural habitat that would be making noise during the night.

I bet if those crickets were in the room where your friend sleeps he/she would be more willing to get rid of them, right.

Jooles is right. Good food, high in protein and crunchy when bitten into!! :P

Crickets are good watch dogs too, you wake up when they stop. They go silent when someone or something approaches.

Never mind Greys, they keep me awake all night!

My son has a bearded dragon and the crickets are horrible things:sick:

Post edited by: casper, at: 2009/08/23 14:50

Hi Maplefalls what is your bird's name? I'm assuming at least one is a grey. Would love to hear more about your fids. I agree I don't think the crickets will bother your grey but will certainly make a tasty meal if they get too close.
