HeatherStrella Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I'm sitting here with Harrison and I just started wondering....can you breed a CAG with a TAG? I'm not interested in breeding Harrison...especially with a TAG, but I'm just curious if it can be done. Anyone know?
spookyhurst Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 As far as I know, I don't think so. I've seen the question posed many times, but have never actually seen a definitive answer.
judygram Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Me either, Spookyhurst, maybe one of our experts can tell us whether it is possible or not.
Guest Lidia Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I haven't a clue either. Have you tried googling it?
Guest briansmum Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 i think they can. i found a video on youtube and this lady had one of each a male TAG and a female CAG, i posted a question adking what it was like having both and in her reply she said that her vet had told her to expect babies in a few years
Guest briansmum Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 btw heather i love your new harrison banner
CeasarsDad Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Physically there isn't any reason why these two birds couldn't produce off spring.. Now whether or not two different birds like this would choose to mate together is a different matter.. I would doubt that they would..

Talon Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 I did read somewhere recently that you can breed a TAG with a CAG. I'll see if I can find it, as I don't remember it exactly.
