Colour

I make alot of toys for my African Grey's but I would like some advice on what colour to use on them e.g paints or dye's.:dry: :huh:

I think you should use all kinds of colors for your toys -red, blue, yellow, orange, green etc. Make them bright and full of excitement so the bird is interested in it. I would be cautious on using paints though, it could be toxic to the birds. I would love to see some of the toys that you made, we have a "Homemade toys and playstands" room if you want to share some pictures and ideas with us.

Use food dye, it is safe for your birds and it is what "Bird Safe" the Toy manufacturers use.

Hi Den92, food color dye is what you should use to keep your fids safe. Would love to see some of your toys. We have a Homemade Toy & Playstand Room that you could post them in. Also, you should introduce yourself in the Welcome/Introduction Room so we can all get to know you.
