rbpittman
Just when you thought you had a diet figured out.... I've read in here from other members how their birds dunk their pellets. Dixie has never done this before, until today. We keep a large bowl of water in the bottom of her cage for her to bathe in, of course she doesn't she prefers her water bowl. Today she's taking her pellets out of her pellet bowl, throwing them into the bottom of her cage - most hitting the water bowl - full of water. Down she climbs, reaches in, grabs the pellets and then eats them. Go figure. -- Robin
Char
Dixie is a smart girl. She figured out a faster way to get those pellets wet than carrying them one by one to the water bowl.:cheer:
she
Charlie is not that smart, he takes his pellets one by one to his water bowl and dunks them.

Post edited by: she, at: 2009/08/15 21:
Tycos_mom
I guess she doesn't want to mess up her drinking water so the water on the bottom makes a good soup pot that cute this way she can throw doing as many as she wants to eat and doesn't have to keep going back and forth to her water dish pretty smart of her actually
