He or she should be arriving in early september... can't wait:) Because my breeder does not band(she believes it is can be harmful can cause broken legs if the leg band gets caught) I'm thinking about microchipping. Would it be a very bad idea to get the baby microchipped during her/his vet health checkup? I would have only had the baby a day or 3 at the most and don't want to overwhelm it,especially since they will be shipped up the east coast. The time for Microchipping I believe would be best when you and your avian vet determined the time would be right. Can't wait to hear more about your new baby. I'm excited for you!
