SmokiesMom Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 It seems Smokie likes to hang on the door...it even seems to like it when you swing the door.

Post edited by: SmokiesMom, at: 2009/08/09 19:51
SmokiesMom Posted August 10, 2009 Author Posted August 10, 2009 Here, Smokie is trying to figure out how to go from the floor to the cage...it finally did get over the seed catcher....
Joolesgreyuk Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Oh great pics and I love the name "Smokie"!
Luvparrots Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Great pictures of Smokie!!! What a character!!! Thanks for sharing him with us!!!
Tycos_mom Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 What an adventurist your Little guy is he's so cute. He sure like to explore his new home doesn't he
SmokiesMom Posted August 10, 2009 Author Posted August 10, 2009 Yes it is...just wish he wouldn't bite!! It only bites when it is on it's cage...any where else it is fine and is well behaved...oh and it doesn't let me touch it...this is going to be a slow process...testing my patience that's for sure :angry:
Char Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 He is a very handsome boy. I don't use the seed catchers on my cage.
SmokiesMom Posted August 10, 2009 Author Posted August 10, 2009 I could just imagine the mess it would make if I didn't use them...it conquered the situation {Communicate-000200D5}
Dave007 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I do use the seed catchers in my cages but definitely not for seed. Hmmm, birds do like to stand on tops and doors of cages so there needs to be a catcher's mitt if you know what I mean.
judygram Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Smokie is a very nice looking grey and yes you will have to put down some paper or something to catch the poops that may be dropped when they are on the door but it looks like greyt fun. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
rbpittman Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Lovely Smokie! He's quite the swinger! I don't use the seed catchers either, were too difficult to clean, food getting caught between the catchers and the cage, and I can't take Dixie's or Sterling's cages outside to clean them, so the weekly "Heavy" cleaning is done where they sit. I keep lots of newspaper on the floor for the "accidents" and that's about all it's good for except for the Sudoku. -- Robin
