Tari
They got there many many years ago back when we still imported birds and some wild quakers got loose. Our hand raised babies would never make it in the wild. Not sure if they are all over. And they can be a fire hazard cause they build those huge next in the power lines. But QPS with the help of some very dedicated people are trying to come up with alternative nest sites for these guys. They have weighed next in at 150 pounds. I don't really keep up with it all like I should.

Guest
I've seen this clip before. There seems to be an organization that is helping them because they're being caught by some government body who act because they are causing harm?? I don't remember the story precisely, but I hope these little dudes won't get harmed. They're so cute and... only following their instincts and nature. I think it's rather nice to have them walk around free
kiwibarb12
Really enjoyed the video - and so did Beck - who stopped trying to take my glasses off, and watched. I liked especially the shot of the little devils clinging to the bird deterent wires. Very typical of quakers!!!!
