Our parrots have impressive Eyesight.

Today we took Sachi and Emma to the park. We noticed at one point that they were both looking up in the sky. We looked up to see what they were so focused on but didn't see anything. About 30 seconds later we heard a plane fly over. All of that time they were looking at the plane but we couldn't see it with our simple human eyesight. I thought that was pretty amazing.

To bad they don't put it to good use and help us look for items we seem to have misplaced.

 

Sometimes I'll ask Emma is she can see my car keys as if she will be able to respond.:blush:

Yes they have very good eyesight, Sunny my conure is the worst for seeing anything fly by the house and that is from inside. We have big windows in the family room and she will notice something thru the window and take flight, it doesn't bother Josey as much, she just sits there and wonders what the heck is she doing.

And very sharp hearing too.
