Monty
The title may sound odd, it may not... I dont know yet! I find both with Monty, and Coco (my Girlfriend's CAG) that they love to play around with my mouth. They nibble on my lips and seem to clean my teeth. As vicious as they can both be at times, neither of them ever bites hard, or abuses my trust whilst in my big gob. I find it quite strange, give monty a finger and he'll bite it off, but give him my tongue and he'll play with it carefully! Does anybody else find the same?

Post edited by: Monty, at: 2009/07/25 00:
Char
It is very dangerous to trade spit with you bird. Your mouth is full of bacteria that they have no resistance to. You can make your bird sick. If you don't believe me, Ask your vet.
Monty
Oops! I believe you, TBH I should have thought about that before. He's had his fun, so that's enough! thanks.
judygram
Char is correct, we do have bacteria in our mouths that they can't handle so cleaning your teeth and playing with your tongue are off limits for Monty.

danmcq
Didn't need to see this one.... I suspect this is illustrating one of those chemical reactions indicating the presence of bacteria. Thanks for sharing this Luvykins. :-)
Dave007
And is it fair to your bird if you have bad breath? Does he deserve such cruelty?

Post edited by: Dave007, at: 2009/07/25 19:
