My dad hes a funny man

Looks after me the best he can

I get up around sunrise

Dad uncovers me wiping his eyes

Good morning Alfie he says to me

Then off to the kitchen to make his tea

Breakfast is ready clean water to

Dad puts it in says i love you

Im out of my cage the rest of the day

Me and my dad hours of play

As the day draws to an end

Its been a day with my best friend

Covers on its time to sleep

My dads love i forever keep
