Eckobird
I made a new toy for Slater and Ecko the other day. They are simple, easy to make toys. Here is Ecko's new toy. I didn't want to use glue because its not safe so I tied leather string around the popsicle sticks for them to stay. Then I put beads on more leather string and some wooden stars in between and made him a new toy in 5 minutes. Cheap and easy and he loved it, I noticed that he started chewing up the popsicle sticks the other day. And here is Slater's new toy. His toy had to be bigger because he goes through them so fast. I used some blue rope and some wiffle balls, tied a couple of knots and added some leather string and beads and some straws too. At the end is a little squeaky frog that I punch a hole in. I moved it over to his perch and he went straight for it. Within 15 minutes he undid all of the knots and threw the beads all over the floor haha, he is too smart. I made sure to watch him carefully with the beads because I know they are small and he could choke on them but he enjoyed throwing them everywhere and hearing the beads on the floor lol. He destroyed that toy completely in 3 days, tore the wiffle balls to pieces and everything, the only thing left was the blue rope. Oh well, it was cheap and an easy toy to make. Oh yea and my princess Misty was helping me make the toys haha.<br><br>Post edited by: caitb2007, at: 2009/07/09 17:
Partner316
Both look really good. Good Job! I can't do little things like that, They would be way to elaborate and I would need to make everything look even and color wise there would have to be all matching. lol but again Very good job -Nick-
