Eckobird
Hi Raheema, it was nice meeting you in the chat box. I'm glad you made a post. I think Leia is uncomfortable in the box so thats why she won't go in it. You should try put down newspaper in a certain spot to go and just say go potty to her. When you see her start to wiggle her but pick her up and bring her to that spot of newspaper. When she goes say go potty and praise her for going. Like I said it takes A LOT of time and practice with her. She is young but its a good age to start teaching her things. Good luck with the potty training. I hope to hear more from you on the forum about Leia and post updates and pictures of her. You can actually post the pics right here in this post.

Post edited by: caitb2007, at: 2009/06/28 21:
Luvparrots
Hi Raheema, I have a perch in the container I use to potty train Ana Grey. I put her on the perch and say go potty. She wiggles her little bottom and goes if she has to go. I praise her and give her a scratch. Good luck with Leia's training and welcome to the family. If you have any pictures of Leia you would like to share we would love to see them!
Tycos_mom
The thing about potty training is you have to be consistant everytime you see her doing the potty dance you have to take her to where you want her to go and say go poop or go potty and then as soon as she goes say yea good girl get excited about it and give her lots of praise and scritches she will soon catch on and learn to go there just a peice of newspaper or paper towel is best for potty training if you have a small table top pearch that would be best with the paper under it. good luck annd welcome to our little family.
