Hello everyone, my name is Chelsea & I live in CA. I am a life long bird lover/fanatic & I am soon going to be getting my dream bird, a CAG!! I just met it for the first time yesterday, it's just 3 weeks old. SO sweet, I am in love!! I have a few months before I will be bringing it home, so I am getting everything ready for my baby. I have been reading everything I can find & gathering all the neccessaries. I am so excited!! I am currently owned by a sun conure, 2 dogs & lots of large animals ( not sharing the house ) I look forward to sharing & learning with you all who understand the love of birds!!

Hi Chelsea, congratulations on you're becoming a grey parront. Will you be having your fid DNA tested and have you decided on any names for your baby? I hope you are close enough to your sweet grey to visit often. If you are, we would love to see some pictures if you get a chance to take any. Hi Chelsea and welcome to the forum! Congrats on your new baby CAG! I bet you are sooo excited to be getting your baby. That is wonderful that you are doing your research before bringing home the baby so you know what to expect. The wait is going to seem sooo long but it is so worth it in the end. You said you met it for the first time? So do you live close to the breeder so you can visit it a lot? That would be good for the both of you. Hello, thank you all for the warm welcome!! I am fortunate to live close to the breeder, so will be able to see my baby often. I will get some pics to post soon. She is going to DNA them, so I will know what sex my baby is. I have tentativly chosen the name Biscotti, hope it fits the babys personality!http://www.greyforums.net/components/com_joomlaboard/emoticons/w00t.png

Welcome Chelsea!!!! I really like the name you have picked! That is so wonderful that you're getting to meet your baby and get to know him/her before the homecoming. Have you guys gotten a cage for the new arrival? Can't wait to see some pictures of the sweet little featherball!!

Hi chimaysmommy, thanks for the welcome! We do have a nice new cage, and a brand new Celti Birdy Backpack carrier & tons of toys! This is going to be one very loved baby!! Can't wait to get it home!
