I live up in Duluth, Minnesota and have a 10 month old african grey. It's pretty cold up hear most of the year, but now that it's starting to warm up, I'm looking for cage ideas for outside during the warmer weather. He would only be outside when I'm out there with him working in the garden (we have a seasonal hawk population, which why a cage is a must). He is absolutely fearless of everything so far so he'll love being outside. I'm just needing to find a cage that I can pack away in the garage during the winter but that is large enough for him to chill out in for a few hours during the day with me. Any ideas? Would an aluminum travel carrier be adequate or should I think bigger? Building a cage isn't feasible for us due to the seasons and various other outdoor projects we're already planning.
