Is manzanita the only type of playstand you recomend? The ones I've been looking at have been terribly expensive

We have a 4 month old male Congo African grey. We have his cage that has a playstand on top but are looking for a playstand. We've been thinking about going with the manzanita. Any thoughts, sandblasted or not, websites to order from, comments, suggestions? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much Jeannine
