Well, it has been a while since I have visited this website. I now have been having my 3 yr. old grey for 8 mo. now. She was 3 when I got her. Her breeder owns a pet shop. Hence, she spent the first 3 years of her life building a vocabulary taught to her by the customers of the pet shop. Well, needless to say, I was suprised. I can afford to laugh because I don't have children. What a hoot.

Since I purchased her I also purchased an Illiger's macaw: one of the miniature macaws. She was handfeed also. However, she seems to have a bit of a bite at times. I did read that -aka- blue wing macaws have that tendence. Do any of you readers know this to be a fact? I would be interested in hearing from you.
