My male gray said his first word when he was four and a half months old. It was a rather robostic "Hello", but clear enough... Now one month later he also can separately say his name and repeats "Up, up...up up". The words are not as clear as my female grey but I am accordingly impressed because I was told that my female had said her first word at 9 months. But she was probably left alone frequently, so that would explain a lot...
