I am looking to purchase a Grey. The owners have stated that they want a good home for the birds due to the fact that they do not have enough time top care and love the Greys like they would like to. I was looking to purchase one but I am thinking about getting the pair. So my questions are would it emotionally harm them to the point of not responding well with my family and myself if I only purchased one? And I understand that weening the bird has its ups and downs on the bonding process but would it be best to purchase a baby baby or is 12 months old a good age for the bird(s) to bond with us?
