Codie is jealous of anyone that comes near me During the day while we are here on our own, she quite happily stays on her playstand, or comes and sits on the leg of my Computer Chair, but as soon as my Daughter or Other Half walk in the door, she immediately flies onto me and snuggles her head into my arm and when they come near me she runs up my arm , pins her eyes on them, fans her tail out and growls at them as if to say... " come any closer if you dare " She is very much a One Person Bird!

Well, I have had Codie since she was 11 Weeks old.. At first she loved everyone Then suddenly she decided, I was the only one that she was going to tolerate! With me, she is a very loving and cute little Angel, but as soon as any other Family Member goes near her... I can only describe her as turning into mean and viscious monster They have tried everything to get her to bond with them, but she will have none of it:( Its almost like she has a obsession with me... She just wants to be near me all the time.. Even as I am writing this, she has come down from her Playstand and perched herself on the leg of my Computer Chair.. Thats how close she always wants to be lol She is a real little Acrobat and swings about in her Cage like a Monkey She is now 6 Months old and is saying lots of words... Her favourites are Hiya.. What Ya Doing.. Hello and Good Girl.. She loves nearly all Veggies, but is not very keen on any type of fruit, although I will keep putting it in her Dish and hopefully, one day she will decide to eat it! Apart from all of this, I love her to bits and cannot imagine not having her around

LOL If Codie is in her Cage and I leave the room, she has started Screaming very loudly !! I have been told to ignore her and eventually she will stop!! Hopefully she will, otherwise I think I will have to buy some earplugs

Yes, I must admit she does seem very protective over me! While I am in the same room with her, then she will quite happily stay on her stand and just sit with me, but the minute I go out of the room I can hear her little feet tapping accross the floor, then she will poke her head round the corner and very cutely say " Hello"

Thankyou Talon When I saw your pic of Nilah, I thought how much alike they both look Codie is a real character, She is now picking up new words everyday.... The only problem I have with her is she will not tolerate anyone else but me:( I can do anything with her at all, she just wants to be with me all the time! As soon as any other Member of the family go near her, she then starts growling and sqawking at them
