thanks everyone i will try to post some picture soon. and yes it is a wonderfull thing to be home with her all the time. and she brigthens my day!!

thanks judygram it's nice to hear she's eating okay,ido leave food out all day,pellets,and bird food,and we eat white potatoes mainly just sweet like 2-3 month.will stop cucumbers and less in fruit and sunflowers. she is the light of my days!

I was wondering if I'm giving willo too much food threw out the day? in the morning i fix her fresh veggies roman lettuce,beet leaves and beets,water crest,green pepperer's,although she doesn't touch them alto. carrots, spinched,coconut,cabbage,broccoli,cauliflower,red lettuce,cucumbers,radish,Clayton leaves,snap peas,string beans parsely. now these are all organic as much as possible and uncooked. she also has variety of baked potatoes sweet plan,turnip,peas,string beans,broccoli,pasta,brown rice,scrambled eggs,corn,oatmeal,cream of wheat,boiled eggs, meats-tuna,chicken whole tiny bone plus chopped chicken,pork chops, she likes baked ham but i give her very little because i read its ot good for her. fruit- all thats safe and organic she doesn't like bananas much but loves to sneak and chew off the ends of each banana! homemade applesauce made with mactoish apples straight from trees seeds- sunflower seeds shelled and no salt,almonds,walnuts,peanuts bought on line from pet solutions.com,dried cranberries,blueberries,i buy her Grey pellets and seed bags also on line, oh and once in a while organic baby food she loves pumpkin apple, my husband used to be a chief and he makes fresh meals daily and we shop at our farmers market alot. i combined a little bit of everything each day. she has breakfast,snack made fresh around 10 am lunch 11-12,snack 2 O'Clock,super 5-6.plus she has fresh pellets.seeds,in house bowl,top cage bowl,and her eating space in the kitchen on the counter (where she eats her meals and likes her snacks there too) all day. everyday i dump out her pellets and bird seed into container that i give the outside birds, i don't want her eating anything stale. i also put string beans raw,pea pods in her house at night case she wants more than bird food. she has 2 water bowls in her house,plus one on top of her house and one on the counter. she also has birdie treat snacks i buy on line to hang in her house.although she has yet to eat any,i will leave them for couple days only. k hope iv explained this okay. Willo loves too eat and seems not to be to picky.of course we have given her a variety since she was done her formula.i used to puree her resh cooked veggies and mix them with her formula.she sooo loved this and her feedings. any suggestions to other foods and if I'm doing okay would be great.oh we do beans also,pinto,kidney,thanks sorry this is so long.

hello i haven't been on in a while and have a few questions. Willo is now 7 months and growing so fast. just a quick info on Willo's home life. I do not work so Willo is very rarely home alone,Willo is not clipped and flys wonderfully! she has use of the whole house except near cooking prep area. she has 4-5 favorite spots she hangs at. my question though is she is taken out of her house around 8-830 am and does not go back in it till 8-9 pm . she will go on top too see what i have put in one of her food bowls or get a drink. However she never goes it her house during the day.she has just started climbing on the backside of her house on the outside once in a while. she has a big cage I'm 5 4 and can fit in it and stretch out my arms. i have an open room living room kitchen,her house is near both rooms. but like i said she flys and goes to most rooms.i have been able to train her to go potty on her potty stand or over the trash can. she also does not go potty in her cage all night.when we let her out in the morning we bring her right to her potty stand and say go potty.and boy does she go!! she will also fly to the stand herself and go. i have perches and rope swings,ladders,play stands in all different areas.she also has braider rope from one side of the room to the other with toys above and below it. but I'm just wondering if it's normal and okay for her not to use her house except to sleep or when i have doc apts each week. and yes her house has 5 different types of perches hanging toys and fresh water,food. she is comfortable with her house and lets me put her in just fine when i need to. just wondering if this is okay? thanks

my husband will call me on his evening lunch break and i put the phone on speaker,willo gets all wide eyed and will turn her head to the side while my husband whistles to her and says hi willo. it''s so cute to watch.

willo is for willo trees which is my favorite tree in the world. my grandmother had 3 in her yard.every summer when i was little she would read to me under them and we would share her home made molasses cookies. and i have willo tree them in my kitchen. what a great idea for thread!

i would never get upset with you for just wanting to help keep willo safe. THANKS! she only goes in it around 11pm when i put her to bed for the night.I'm home all day and she doesn't go in her house unless i put her there.so I'm able to keep good eye on her.but I'm always up for suggestions and help! new to being a bird Mommy and i worry alot.

yawning on top of her livening room bed. i had to figure out how too hide the paper clips since i took these pictures! but i like to keep flannel cloth on the out side of her bed so i can wash it when ever see pops there. gotta keep our babies play and sleep areas clean.

is it okay to give salt free organic sunflowers seeds to Willo once or twice a week. i have bought salt free mixed organic nuts ,along with peanuts still in their shell on petsolution.com. but her favorite is sunflower seeds. Willo just turned 4 months yesterday!
