Hello! I have been a bird lover my whole life. My first bird was a parrotlet and then a cockateil. I just rescued a 7 year old African Grey (my dream bird!). He is in pretty bad shape. He was neglected and put in a cage with no toys and moved into a separate room with no contact for the past few years. I can tell the type of owners he had since all hes says are negative things like swear words and "Shut up harvey" (thats what his name was) . He has plucked out all his feathers except his wings and tail. Today was the first time he has ever been out of his cage. He is loving it. Im happy for this forum and can use all the advice i can get on how to help tame him and trust us. Thanks!
