Thanks guys, luckly he will be at home with the rest of my family. I'm sure I will miss him more than he me. I'm so glad I've found like minded people, all my friends think I am a bit over the top.

Hi all, I'm a new owner of a 10 week old african grey. I have had him since he was 4 weeks old and we are bonding very nicely. My problem is that in 15 days i need to go to the uk for 2 weeks and am worried he will not remember me when I get back.

I have an eight week african grey and am very scared to let him fly as I had a baby cockatiel who broke his neck on a window on his first flight. I would really appreciate any advice as I would love to let him fly around the house.
