So I just got my 5 month old CAG. This is my first time owning one, and the second day I had him, he bit me, drawing blood. Of course it was my own fault for trying to get him to step up before he was comfortable, but I was wondering, how long after getting a new grey should I be waiting to handle him? Also, what would be the first step in gaining his trust?

I just got my CAG and he keeps flying into the glass door of the cage. I've read that I should put some type of stickers on there so he can see that it isn't a clear flying space, but I was wondering if anyone else had any other suggestions.
