Thanks to you all for the advice and welcome. @ judygram Yes i am leaning more towards re-homing a bird that has had a bad start in life,I do like the idea of giving a second chance,Also i am drawn to greys but i am not 100% fixed i pretty much love them all. @jds that was my thought letting the bird pick me,I am in no real rush and want to make sure we are both right for each other. Hi thanks,I dont want to rush in to anything judging by the amount of young birds for sale locally it seems many people do and then sadly change their minds.

Hello to you all,I do not belong to a parrot yet but i thought it would be a good idea to lurk around these parts and learn as much as i can before i take the plunge,i am very much looking forward to having a bird in my life and to speaking with like minded people,so again Hello and thanks in advance for any help i will no doubt need.Cheers.
