Casey Luria

Quinn had a rough beginning, but is now doing just fine. He spent his first three days refusing food. We had a vet appointment set for that third day and the vet gave him a vitamin and probiotic shot to get his tummy working again. I took him to the place where I got him, I knew these people would do their best, to get Quinn eating again. I did not want him to go another day without food. Fortunately he responded to the shot and his caretakers and was fine in two days and I brought him home again. He has been scarfing down his food ever since. He eats more that the Amazon who is a big eater. He seems to really like my chopped salads. He is trying things out and seems just fine. He is brave little guy and willing to check out every toy I put in his cage. He steps up very nicely for me. His wings are clipped but not real short, he can fly a little.

Now I am introducing a new animal, a Havanese dog from the shelter. He weighs about 13 lbs. I hope they get along
